PURPOSE:To obtain a capsuled toner for heat and pressure fixing having superior blocking resistance and triboelectric chargeability and enabling low energy fixing by using a specified resin-based shell. CONSTITUTION:A capsuled toner for heat and pressure fixing is composed of a heat-meltable core contg. at least a colorant and a shell covering the surface of the core. This shell is based on resin obtd. by allowing an isocyanate compd. and/or an isothiocyanate compd. to react with a compd. having active hydrogen reacting with an isocyanato group and/or an isothiocyanate group in 1:1-1:20 molar ratio. In the resin, at least <=30% of the number of all bonds in which isocyanato groups and/or isothiocyanate groups take part are thermally dissociable bonds. |
