<p>PURPOSE:To continuously and efficiently separate a mixture of optical isomers by using a packed bed packed with a material for optical isomer separation in the interior by simulated moving bed method. CONSTITUTION:Adsorbing chambers 1-12 packed with a material for optical isomer separation in the interior are mutually connected, provided with an extracting solution feed line 13, an extract drawing out line 14, an optical isomer-containing solution feed line 15 and a raffinate drawing out line 16, desorption operation is carried out in the adsorption chambers 1-3, concentration operation in the adsorption chambers 4-6, adsorption operation in the adsorption chambers 7-9 and extracting solution recovery operation in the adsorption chambers 10-12, respectively. At every fixed time interval, the feed lines 13 and 15 and the drawing out lines 14 and 16 are moved by one chamber of adsorption chamber in the flow direction by operating valves and operations of desorption, concentration, adsorption and extract solution recovery are carried out in the adsorption chambers 2-4, 5-7, 8-10 and 11-1.</p> |
