<p>PURPOSE: To select and simply adjust a resistance curve in accordance with a desired of a user by changing the positions of weight members set on arms so as to change the resistance curve. CONSTITUTION: A training station 12 has a main frame 14 at a position where a user is present, and a movable support bed 28 incorporating a plunger 30 is incorporated in the main frame 14. An actuating member 58 is adapted to set against the user for training, and a torque mechanism incorporates a plurality of weight members 76, 83, 90 supported on a plurality of torque arms 72, 79, 86 fixed to shafts so that a torque arm which has been experienced by the user during training can be changed into another one by changing the positions of the weight members 76, 83. 90 on the torque arms 72, 76, 86.
