PURPOSE: To obtain a liposome-containing vaccine formulation for intranasal or inhalation administration capable of preventing influenza infection. CONSTITUTION: This influenza subunit vaccine preparation for intranasal or inhalation administration includes an empty liposome and a freely mixed antigen material, and the existence of the liposome stimulates IgG response in accordance with intramuscular (i.m.) immunization in a circulation by a subunit vaccine not containing liposome and also generates local IgA response in a respiratory tract.
