<p>The insulating cavity structure, particularly a multiple-glazing unit, comprises two or more plates, e.g. of glass, with a first strip holding them at a set distance apart and forming a moisture- and gas-proof joint with each. Holes in line in the plates accommodate fixing devices, and a second strip forms a seal against the plates. round each pair of adjacent holes. The space enclosed by the latter strip is accessible via an aperture for the injection of sealing filler material, particularly glue.
