The preparing method of wholly aromatic polyamide fiber comprises; solubilization of polymer composed of more than 85 mol% of aromatic polyamide into amide solvent to make spinning solution, extruding them through spinneret, passing them through air-gap to coagulate them preliminarily, passing the pre-coagulated filaments through 1st coagulation bath whose bottom shape is conical and which has exit and functions as a guide of extruded filaments toward 2nd bath as well as coagulation, through 2nd coagulation bath. The 1st and 2nd coagulation bath are composed of solvent, calcium chloride and water.
