<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a high-reliable thin film circuit element at a low coat by using a resin composition mainly composed of an epoxy-phenol resin for a protective film. CONSTITUTION:A strong magnetic thin film 2 is protected by a protective film 1. An MR element consists of a glass 3, an electrode 4, a ceramic substrate 5, and a bias magnet 6. The protective film contains a resin as a binder, in which the characteristics of a high-adhesion epoxy resin are used; a part of a phenol resin functions as a curing agent for the epoxy resin to enhance a crosslinking density to improve a hardness and resistance to moisture; and the most of the remaining phenol resin has a reducing function to mitigate the corrosion of the thin film. A filler is compounded with this binder for imparting a proper mounting properties to obtain a resin composition. As the epoxy resin, all glycidyl-containing resins may be used. As the phenol resin, all phenol hydroxyl-containing resins may be used. By using the aforesaid resin protective film, the thin film circuit element superior in hardness, adhesion, and corrosion resistance is made available.</p> |
