PURPOSE:To provide the safe prosthesis for the gullet which is not closed in the aperture at the front end by the coats of the stomach and does not perforate the coats of the stomach. CONSTITUTION:This prosthesis 1 for the gullet consists of a cylindrical intermediate part 4 having flexibility and cylindrical stationary parts 2, 3 which are provided at both ends of this intermediate part 4, are larger than the diameter of the intermediate part 4 and have flexibility and are inserted and detained in the narrow part of the gullet. The stationary parts 2, 3 at both ends mentioned above are disposed in such a manner that the central axes thereof are approximately parallel with each other and are apart a prescribed distance. The above-mentioned intermediate part 4 consists of a cylindrical pipe connecting the central axes of the stationary parts 2, 3 with a smooth curve. |
