PURPOSE:To miniaturize the radial dimensions of a second speed change mechanism including a planetary gear mechanism arranged on a secondary rotary shaft and constituting a planetary gear type multistage transmission together with a first speed change mechanism including a first rotary shaft, the second rotary shaft laid substantially parallel with the first rotary shaft and a planetary gear mechanism arranged on the first rotary shaft. CONSTITUTION:A sun gear 23 in a transmission 1 is integrally incorporated with a second rotary shaft 5 extending through a planetary gear mechanism 21 and to a casing 9. A brake B0 and a one-way clutch OWC0 which serve as reaction elements for the planetary gear mechanism 21 are disposed between one end part of the second rotary shaft 5 and the casing, and accordingly, it is possible to obtain a reaction force for limiting the rotation of the sun gear 23. |
