Multi-engine alternating current transmission system with a direct current converter in the intermediate circuit comprises a power supply converter being an inverter which enables electric energy to be returned to the system with an energy collector. It also comprises a rectifier connected to direct current converter through direct current output and to the source of energy of alternating current through alternating current input. It is characterised in that the direct current intermediate circuit between first direct current converter (PRS1) and the energy collector (BA) has n, where n is a natural number and is greater than zero, outputs, connected in parallel, of direct current converters (PRS2...PRSn), connected to the engine (S2...Sn) rotor rectifier (P2...Pn).<IMAGE>
