A method for obtaining an air-fuel mixture in the main system of the carburetor of a piston-type combustion engine, wherein after a stream of fuel is discharged from the discharge nozzle of the carburetor main system, the direction of flow of the stream of fuel changes in harmony with the direction of flow of the stream of air, whereby a component of velocity for the stream of fuel is obtained, the said component being directed opposite to the direction of flow of the stream of air.2. A device for obtaining an air-fuel mixture in the main system of the carburetor of a piston-type combustion engine with one or more carburetor (4) choke tubes (8), comprising a float chamber (9), the main fuel nozzle (10), fuel supply ducts (11), discharge nozzle (12) in the carburetor (4) main system (3), one or more throats (14) and (15), throttling valve (19) and carburetor outlet chamber (16) and, moreover, a well (12), the main air nozzle (18) and an emulsion tube (13), wherein in the carburetor outlet chamber (16) there is an inlet valve mask (5, 20, 21, 22, 23) that is permanently fixed by means of a connector (6, 7) in the carburetor (4) choke tube (8) and of which the position is perpendicular to the direction of flow of air at the distance (L) in the range from 1 to 80 mm from the outlet (17) of the discharge nozzle (2) of the carburetor (4) main system (3).<IMAGE>
