PURPOSE:To obtain a detergent which is lowly irritative, excellent in foaming ability and touch of the foam, and suitable particularly for cleaning the skin by mixing a higher fatty acid, a phosphoric ester surfactant and an isethionic acid surfactant. CONSTITUTION:A solid detergent composition comprising a higher fatty acid, a phosphoric a ester surfactant of formula I and an isethionic acid surfactant of formula II. In the formulae, R<1> is an 8-18C suturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon group X and Y are each H, an alkali metal, ammonium or an alkanolamine having a 2-3C hydroxyalkyl group; (m) is 0-10; R<2> is a 9-17 C saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon group; and Z is H, an alkali metal, ammonium or an alkanolamine having a 2-3C hydroxyalkyl group. |
