PURPOSE:To continuously, automatically and industrially forming a band having optimum diameter and width for a food by moving the band formed with an edible natural high polymer substance and inserting the food into the above- mentioned band kept in spread and opened state waiting at the moving position. CONSTITUTION:The top part of a tube 10 formed in a desired diameter is cut in a desired width and the band is moved onto the side in spread and opened state and food 44 is inserted in the above-mentioned band 11 kept in spread and opened state waiting at the moving position and the above-mentioned band 11 fitted on the circumferential face of the food 44 inserted is fastened and carried. An edible natural high polymer substance previously formed in a desired diameter corresponding to thickness of food is used as a raw material of tube 10 used. A substance suitable for the above-mentioned high polymer substance includes a protein such as collagen, gelatin, gluten, myosin, albumin or soyprotein, polysaccharide such as starch, alginic acid or devil's tongue starch and the band is formed using a raw liquid consisting of either one kind of the above-mentioned substances or combination with other kind of substance. |
