PURPOSE:To improve the working ratio of a machine by juxtaposing plural spindles independently ascended/lowered and providing a forming tool holding a forming shaft according to the forming shape at a lower end thereof. CONSTITUTION:A rivet head forming tool 4 holding the forming shaft 3 is provided on the lower end of spindle 2, which is rotated with a motor 1 and ascended/lowered. Further, on a table 11 shifted in X-Y plane, a material to be worked with a work rivet already inserted, is supported. By shifting the table 11 and lowering the spindle 2, the lower end of the forming shaft 3 is abutted on the upper end face of the work rivet and also by circular-rocking the forming shaft 3, the rivet head is formed to the work rivet. Then, plural pieces of the spindles 2 independently ascended/lowered are juxtaposed. On the lower end of each spindle 2, the forming tool 4 holding the forming shaft 3 according to the forming shape, is provided. By this method, the rivet head such as angular, round, pan, flat, eyelet shapes is formed with the work rivet with one set of the machine. |
