PURPOSE:To obtain a thin and lightweight padding cloth of woven fabric by weaving spun yarn comprising conjugate yarn of specific constitution of readily alkali-soluble polyester and hardly alkali-soluble polyester to give a woven fabric and subjecting the woven fabric to alkali weight reduction treatment to form yarn with fine fineness. CONSTITUTION:Conjugate yarn which comprises a readily alkali-soluble polyester component 1 and hardly alkali-soluble polyester component 2, wherein the surface of the yarn is partially composed of the readily alkali-soluble polyester component 1 and in the cross section of the conjugate yarn, the hardly alkali- soluble polyester component 2 forms plural independent zones is carded to form spun yarn, which is preferably blended with ordinary polyester yarn to give blended yarn. The blended yarn is woven, then subjected to alkali weight reduction treatment, the readily alkali-soluble polyester is dissolved and removed and plural yarns with fine fineness comprising only the hardly alkali-soluble polyester is formed to give the objective thin and lightweight padding cloth of woven fabric having soft handle. |
