The device for hydrothermal stabilisation of Velcro fasteners made from polycaproamide fibres - polyamide 6. The device consists of a horizontal pressure and vacuum tank, a vacuum pump, a steam installation equipped with a controllable cut-off valve and a steam pressure reducer as well as a steam heater. The device is distinctive in that it has two steam installations connected parallelly to the central tube (11) supplying steam to the device; one of the installations, equipped with the controllable cut-off valve (8) and the pressure reducer (9), links the tube (11) with the direct steam heater (6) placed on the bottom of the tank (1) under a double sieve partition (5). The other installation equipped with the controllable cut-off valve (12) and the steam pressure reducer (13) links the tube (11) with the other direct steam heater (10) made in the form of two identical segments placed behind anti-condensate films (17).<IMAGE>
