PURPOSE:To improve yield by subjecting a polycarbodiimide resin film to blow molding and/or vacuum molding to form a molded article of resin and calcining the molded article in an inert atmosphere at a specific temperature. CONSTITUTION:An aliphatic, an alicyclic or aromatic organic diisocyanate is condensed by using a catalyst to give a polymer or copolymer comprising at least one repeating unit shown by formula I (R is organic diisocyanate residue) which is a polycarbodiimide resin shown by formula II ((n) is 10-10,000). Then the polycarbodiimide resin is molded into a sheet or film, which is subjected to blow molding and/or vacuum molding to form a precursor of resin molded article. Then the molded article is calcined in vacuum at 350-3,500 deg.C to give glassy carbon molded article in high yield. |
