PURPOSE:To provide the title bathing agent and lotion beneficial to health, consisting mainly of a fermented liquor of polymeric multipolysaccharide produced by activation and heating treatment of xanthan gum through batch process followed by hydrocarbon fermentation with microorganisms. CONSTITUTION:The objective bathing agent or lotion consisting mainly of a fermented liquor of polymeric multipolysaccharide produced by activation and heating treatment of xanthan gum as raw material through batch process followed by hydrocarbon fermentation with microorganisms (Xanthomanas compestris) to effect activation. The present bathing agent or lotion causes no harm such as skin chapping or rashes, vitalizes and protects the skin, also has such medicinal effects as to cure the sources of the skin diseases such as pimple, prickly heat and various kinds of atopic dermatitis, and furthermore, has deodorant, bacteria-eliminative and antifungal effects.
