PURPOSE:To reduce wire chip and generation of loss time by switching supply and stop of the auxiliary insulating element material having different color to an extruder simultaneously with the supply of conductor, which is led into the extruder continuously, and covering the conductor with single colored or stripe patterned insulating bodies alternately. CONSTITUTION:The main insulating element material in white is supplied to an extruder 10, and while the auxiliary insulating element material in blue is supplied to an auxiliary extruder 11. A conductor 20 is fed to a cross head of the extruder 10, and while a switching valve 13 is closed to extrude only the main insulating element material in white from a cross head, and the conductor 20 is coated with the white insulating material to manufacture a white insulated wire core. At a stage that a predetermined length of the insulated wire core, which is coated with the white insulating material, is manufactured, the switching valve 13 is opened. The auxiliary insulating element material in blue is pressure-fed from the auxiliary extruder 11 to the cross head of the extruder 10 through a main pipe 12a of a supply pipe 12, and blue stripe auxiliary insulating material 23 is formed on the white main insulating material 22 to obtain an insulated wire core having a stripe pattern. Other colors are treated similarly. |
