<p>PURPOSE:To stabilize transfer speed in a paper carrying device of an electrophotographic printing device by reducing a dielectric constant of a guide member or a guide surface of a paper carrying part. CONSTITUTION:A dielectric constant is reduced by applying a coating on a guide surface of a guide member 9 of a paper carrying part 8 or giving a resin coating such as 'Teflon(R)' or porcelain enamel treatment thereto. Otherwise, the dielectric constant may be reduced by a physical characteristic of the guide member 9 itself. By this constitution, a charge amount held by paper is rarely affected and carrying is stabilized.</p> |
