<p>PURPOSE:To restrict splash of broken pieces at minimum when an insulating tube is broken, by adhering a first and a second films respectively having different predetermined characteristic to the inside surface of an insulator. CONSTITUTION:A first and a second films 2, 3 are formed in the inner surface of an insulating tube 1 made of porcelain. As the film 2, which is made of the insulating material having a low degree of hardness and having the excellent elasticity, for example, soft urethan resin is used. As the second film 3, which is made of the insulating material having a degree of hardness higher than that of the film 2 and having the excellent mechanical strength, for example, hard urethan resin is used. The film 2 is adhered to the inner surface of the insulating tube 1 through an adhesive layer, and the film 3 is formed on the surface of the film 2 without inclusion of adhesive layer. This explosion-proof insulating tube is fitted to an insulated equipment, in which the insulating high pressure gas is sealed, for use. In the case that the insulating tube 1 is broken, the film 2 is split along a split 4, but since the hardness and the strength of the film 3 is larger than that of the film 2, progression of the split 4 is stopped at the film 2.</p> |
