摘要	At least one strain gauge (4) is connected to an evaluating unit (A) and fastened to another part (2), either above it or below it. This part is subjected to deformation when a vehicle passes through the section being monitored. Pref. many strain gauges are arranged in parallel and distributed over the width of the road. The gauges are evaluated separately. A memory in the evaluating unit stores typical pulse forms for comparing with the information from the gauges. USE/ADVANTAGE - Improvement in reliability with which data concerning number of axles passing and weights involved can be classified.
