The screw connection for a component (3) inserted between two flanges (4,4') comprises a screw (1) supported by its head (1a) on the first flange (4) and a threaded sleeve (5) screwed into the second flange (4') whereby its inner thread holds the screw (1) and its outer thread screws into the flange. The threaded sleeve has a collar (6) which is supported on the component (3) in the assembled state. ADVANTAGE - The threaded sleeve acts as a spacer between the flange and the component and also ensures accurate positioning of the screw.
