PURPOSE:To print a bordered character or image on an object by successively providing a first colorant layer and a second colorant layer having a hue different from that of the first colorant layer on a support to form a hot-melt layer and making the viscosity of the first colorant layer higher than that of the second colorant layer. CONSTITUTION:At least, a first colorant layer 3 and a second colorant layer 4 having a hue different from that of the first colorant layer 3 are successively provided on a support 2 to form a hot-melt layer 5. The viscosity of the first colorant layer 3 at 130 deg.C is set higher than that of the second colorant layer 4 at 130 deg.C. A thermal head 33 is used in a hot-melt transfer part 31 to transfer the hot-melt layer 35 of a hot-melt transfer medium 34 to an object 36 and the transferred hot-melt layer 35 is heated and pressed in a heating and pressing part 32 by a heating press means 37. |
