<p>PURPOSE:To correct the horizontal direction of a recording sheet in a stage where a sheet is ejected by measuring the deviating direction and deviation value of the recording sheet in advance, and carrying out control so as to offset the measured deviation and eject the recording sheet to the prescribed position of a paper ejecting part. CONSTITUTION:A deviation in a paper ejecting position on a paper ejecting tray occurs by a cause from a paper supplying cassette to the paper ejecting tray, but the deviation almost matches with the positional deviation of a horizontal resist. For checking and correcting the positional deviation of the horizontal resist, and recording a document, the correcting quantity of a position where an image is started to be written, is set to a dip switch, so that when the recording sheet is moved in the horizontal direction by the corrected quantity of the position where the image is started to be written, the recording sheet can be ejected to a prescribed paper ejecting position on the paper ejecting tray.
