PURPOSE:To carry out the loading nicely under the condition that the properties of rubber material tape are maintained without complicated operation by a method wherein the rubber material tape is housed in a housing space by being hung down in respective gaps between supporting rods so as to have U-shape crosssectional form. CONSTITUTION:The end of rubber material tape W is inserted through the opening and the gap of a box member 51 in a housing space 11b by being fed with feed rollers 41a. When the predetermined length of the tape W is inserted, the tape W is inserted further in the housing space 11b by means of the weight of the tape itself and the feeding of the feed rollers 41a. At this time, the feeding is stopped just before the touching of the end of the tape W with the bottom of a housing unit 11. After that, a servo motor 24 is driven so as to carry a feeding unit 2 rightwards to the horizontal. direction X by one pitch. Then, by stretching the rod of an air cylinder 64, the non- tacky part 64a is abutted against the left end supporting rod 11a, on which time tape W is placed. After that, the tape W is fed, again with the feed rollers 41a and, at the same time, the rod of an air cylinder 62 is stretched, resulting in inserting the tape W through the gap in the housing space 11b by the predetermined length. |
