The invention comprises the manufacture of an improved version of diaper-pants, a diaper for incontinence with paper pulp fibres as the basic absorbent medium, inserted in between two elements of which the upper one is composed of a hydrophobic liquid absorbent material, and the lower one out of liquid impenetrable material, and contains two inner surfaces for the fitting of the adhesive tapes. The invention in question concentrates all the advantages of the previous developments in this field while fundamentally improving the way the diaper is fitted on the user's body. The existence of the two inner surfaces for the fitting of the adhesive strips (tape) offers the following advantages: Easy pinpointing of the spot where the diaper fastening strips must be applied. Option of repeated repositioning of the adhesive tapes on the lower surface of the diaper that is reinforced internally and final pinpointing of the most suitable position for fitting of the diaper to the user's body; Indications of symmetry in the diaper during application of the adhesive tapes since the fitting surfaces are positioned symmetrically to the central point of the diaper; Maintenance of the diaper elasticity around the user's waist, which is achieved by the insertion of pliable elastic material between the two surfaces for the application of the fitted adhesive tape; Cutback in consumption of plastic material reaching 23-38 percent in relation to other methods which have been developed; Avoiding causing abrasions to the user's skin from potential partial separation of the fitted surface, in contrast with systems where the fitted surface is placed on the outer part of the lower diaper element. The present diaper constitutes the ultimate product which completely meets the user's needs, thus confronting and successfully solving existing problems relating to fitting and safety during its use. |
