Sepg. oil-water mixts. is effected by means of active C adsorption in a sepn. vessel, where before entering the active C filled sepn. vessel, the oil-water mixt. is led through a vessel filled with a granulate and a cationic emulsion breaker such as P3 FERROLIN 8687 (RTM) and opt. a reaction chamber filled with foamed glass with a passage time of ca. 1 hr., and after passing through the active C-adsorption vessel the mixt. is passed through a vessel contg. an adsorbent suitable for filtering out the cationic emulsion breaker, such as Al2O3.
