The tea preparation receptacle (1) is semi-spherical and hollow and contains a half disc shaped tea filter (2). The filter's semi-circular shape is movably mounted against the receptacle's (1) inner wall with its bearing axles (3) diametrical to the open side of the receptacle (1). The tea filter's (2) bearing axles (3) are moutned in slots (11) in the receptacle (1) and act as handles (4) for gripping and moving the filter (2). A lid (6) with handle (9) is pivot mounted by means of an axle (8) in slots (11) on the receptacle (1). A pourer opening (7) closes the open side of the receptacle (1). ADVANTAGE - The tea making receptacle is easy to handle and to clean, and comes into full contact with the hot water.
