A knock-down stacking rack is provided which pro duces added stability and rigidity where significant loads are to be stored within the rack and a plurality of such racks are then stacked vertically. The stacking rack includes a base frame member, a plurality of vertical support members, an upper frame member, and means for interlocking permanently by forming distorted indentations in the respective base frame member and the upper frame member which telescopingly receives the opposite ends of the vertical support members so as to fixedly secure the same therein.
