PURPOSE:To enhance distance measuring accuracy and to make the constitution of parts efficient by cutting off the leakage light from the side surface of a photodetector by placing a projection lens so as to be shifted by a predetermined amount from the light detection lens in the focusing direction. CONSTITUTION:A projection lens 6 is provided so as to be relatively shifted by a distance in a focus direction with respect to a light detection lens 6 and the connection part of the AF block 8 of a main leakage light generating source and a projection element substrate 2 is shifted in the focus direction with respect to a photodetector so as to be positioned behind the straight line connecting the light detecting surface of a sensor and the edge of a photodetector substrate 4 to cut off leakage light by the substrate 4. Therefore, the direct incidence of leakage light is prevented and noise is reduced to enhance distance measuring accuracy and, since a light screening member is not required, the area of the photodetector substrate can be effectively utilized. |
