In a water tap having a housing (1) which can be connected to the supply network and a water outlet which is constructed as a pull-out hand spray (4), an aeration device (5) having at least one closure member being provided in the tap housing (1) to prevent water for domestic use being sucked back via the hand spray (4), it is proposed, for improvement, that the outlet channel (12) be guided via a first closure member (51) of the aeration device (5), the closure member (51) being arranged so as to be axially movable between two valve seats (53, 53a) each enclosing passage openings (54, 54a), and the outflowing water flowing against the closure member axially, whereas the flowing-away of the water takes place radially between the two valve seats (53, 53a) out of the aeration device (5), and the connection to the atmosphere can be established via the lower passage opening (54b). ……
