PURPOSE:To mold resin column and simulataneouly transfer the predetermined pattern on the whole periphery of the column by a method wherein transfer films are supplied between a pair of molds, which form the peripheral surface of a resin molded article, so as to lie parallel to the cavity forming surfaces and, at the same time, molten resin is injected to the direction normal to the direction of the delivery of film. CONSTITUTION:A pair of transfer films 10 and 10, which are delivered from film feeding mechanisms 8 and 8, are fixed on the front face positions of opened slide molds 7 and 7 by being pinched with clamp bars 31 and 31. By advancing a movable side base 4, a movable mold 6 is moved so as to abut against a fixed mold 5 and, after that, by advancing the slide molds 7 and 7, the transfer films 10 and 10 are brought into close contact with the molds. At the same time, the slide molds 7 and 7 are brought under clamped states with clamping members 22... 22. Under the state just mentioned above, by vacuumizing through passages 32 and 32, the transfer films 10 and 10 are brought into close contact with the inner surface of the slide molds. Then, after the movable mold 6 is clamped under high pressure, molten resin is poured by injection through the inlet 26 of a center core 25 in a cavity. Thus, a resin molded article (a) is molded and, at the same time, the required pattern is transferred over the whole peripheral surface of the molded article. |
