The device for opening sealed packets has a self-adhesive strip with a non-adhesive gripper tongue at one end and a packet with a corresponding shape cut into it, to which the strip is applied. The packet is opened when the strip is pulled off and can be reclosed by reapplying the strip. The strip (7) is transparent and has a supplementary strip (15) extending through the cut. The width of the supplementary strip is less than the width of the main strip. It is located transversely to the main strip. It is used to indicate tampering of the package.
