Increasing persons brain capability - bodily exercising e.g. by ergometer to increase cerebral blood circulation and metabolic rate

The body is loaded to engage at least one sixth of the muscular structure at a range between roughly 50 to 65 percent to reach the aerobes and anaerobes thresholds. A warming up time is given first to set the brain in preparation for matching the blood circulation to the body requirements. The procedure can be carried out by an ergometer, pref. of the fixed bicycle type (1) with adjustable loading devices assigned to a control unit (5) contg. at least one microcomputer. The latter has inputs for user data and signals from at least one sensor as well as at least one output to supply control signals to the loading device. At least one output leads to a display (22) and/or a push-button (23) to provide information concerning the training range. The sensors can be breathing rate, blood pressure, sweating level, body temp., the outputs being amplified before reaching the microcomputer. ADVANTAGE - Requires no psychological effect as e.g. by auto-genic training.
