The carrier for goods is made of folded carboard, corrugated paper and similar material and, when erected, consists of a plinth type foot (2) on which is the holder part (3). The foot (2) consists of a base panel (4) joined to two folding sides (5,6) and a top connecting part. The end edges of two opposite facing sides (5,6) have movable inward pointing support sides (10,11,12) which have openings (13,14) in for elastic tension pieces (15,16) joining the support sides (10-12). In the middle of the sides (5,6) and support sides (10-12) is a continuous transverse fold line (17,18). ADVANTAGE - The plinth foot joined to the goods container can be folded flat during transport underneath the container part, and easily and quickly can be converted into its position for use.
