<p>A switch assembly having a sliding plunger type actuator (42, 50) with the actuator assembled in a separate housing portion (32) and snap-locked to a housing portion (74) having a plurality of switches (90, 92, 94) pre-assembled, with the ends of the switch blade engaging the actuator upon assembly. The plunger is surrounded by a collar (48) having a plurality of fingers (116). Upon insertion of the plunger (50) and fingers in a mounting structure aperture (112) and upon rotation of the switch assembly, the locking fingers (116) are spread by cam (122) action. The plunger is friction-detentedly (56) telescoped in said actuator for adjustment of the free position thereof after installation. <IMAGE></p> |
