PURPOSE:To facilitate simple and secure position control by a method wherein approximately linear parts of an inverse sine wave output signal and an inverse cosine wave output signal are detected and the linear parts are integrated by an integral means and the rotation of a motor is controlled in accordance with the output signal of the integrating means. CONSTITUTION:Approximately linear parts of a sine wave output signal SSIN and a cosine output signal SCOS which are outputted in accordance with the output signals SHE1 and SHE2 of rotation detecting device 4A and 4B corresponding to the rotation operation of a motor 2 and an inverse sine wave output signal SSINV and an inverse cosine wave output signal SCOSV which are obtained by inverting the sine wave output signal SSIN and the cosine wave output signal SCOS respectively are detected and the respective linear parts are integrated by an integrating means 21. Then the rotation of the motor 2 is controlled in accordance with a rotation angle detection signal SDET outputted from the integral means 21. With this constitution, the rotation angle can be controlled securely with a simple structure. |
