<p>A disposable sanitary towel (1) intended to be secured, in use, to the interior of the user's underwear in correspondence with the crotch comprises a liquid-permeable layer (5), an impermeable layer (7) and an absorbent element (6), and is provided with two tabs (12) which extend transversely from the central region (4) and, in use, are folded under and fixed to the outer surface of the underwear.
