PURPOSE:To increase the magnetic anisotropy of magnetic films which are capable of recording magnetic signals in the same direction as that of internal stresses so as to increase the coercive force of the magnetic films by forming the magnetic films on the surface of a substrate after an elastic strain is produced in the substrate by applying a uniaxial stress to the substrate and removing the stress from the substrate. CONSTITUTION:Since a uniaxial stress applied to a turbine shaft 2 is removed after magnetic films 3 and 3 are formed in a state where an elastic strain is produced in the shaft 2 by impressing stresses upon the films 3 and 3 from a direction nearly perpendicular to the magnetic signal recording direction, uniaxial internal stresses are introduced to the films 3 and 3 and the coercive forces of the films 3 and 3 can be increased by increasing the magnetic directivity in the same direction as that of the internal stresses. In addition, since the stress applied to the shaft 2 is removed after the films 3 and 3 are formed, the magnetic signal writing frequencies of the films 3 and 3 become denser and the demagnetization resisting properties of the films 3 and 3 can be increased. |
