PURPOSE:To prevent opening at a connecting part and to secure the air-tightness of the large capacity transformer enabling the transportation by a method wherein a closeness reinforcing part is provided at the connecting part of an upper and a lower tank accommodating the contents of the transformer. CONSTITUTION:A flange 12 of the lower tank 11 being the contents of transformer provided therein is connected detachable freely with a penetrating bolt 20 to a flange 14 of the upper tank 13 to be used for the transportation. On the flange 14 being penetrated with the bolt 20, an airtight chamber is formed with a reinforcing beam 23 being fixed one end to the wall of the upper tank 13 and another end to the flange 14, and a hand hole 23A for the handling of the bolt 20 is provided in the beam 23 being closed up tightly with a blanking cover 25. Accordingly because the strength of the flange 14 can be secured and the leakage of airtightness can be prevented, even the large capacity transformer having windings of large outside diameter can be transported preventing opening at the flange 12, 14. |
