A class of compounds useful for providing long-term control of pests, such as insects, nematodes and acarids, having the structural formula: <IMAGE> I where R is lower alkyl, phenyl, substituted phenyl, naphthyl or substituted napthyl; R1 is hydrogen or C1-C6 alkyl; R2 is C1-C6 alkyl or phenyl; R3 is C1-C6 alkoxy, C1-C6 alkyl or C1-C6 alkylthio; R4 is C1-C6 alkoxy, C1-C6 alkylthio, C1-C6 alkylamino or C1-C6 dialkylamino; and X is oxygen or sulfur.
