PURPOSE:To prevent the lowering of fuel utilization efficiency and lengthen the service life of a battery by baking under reductive atmosphere while containing specific volume of Ni.Al double oxide in Ni powder, Ni alloy powder, Ni oxide powder or mixed powder of these. CONSTITUTION:Ni.Al double oxide of 1-16weight% is contained in Ni powder, Ni alloy powder, Ni oxide powder or mixed powder of these so as to bake under reductive atmosphere. Thereby, NiAl2O4 of the Ni.Al double oxide is resolved, and fine Al2O3 is deposited in grain boundary or on the surface of particulates. Thereby, an alumina dispersion nickel alloy electrode having excellent dispersibility can be obtained, and a creep characteristic of a fuel electrode can be improved, and the lowering of fuel utilization efficiency can be prevented, and the service life of a battery can be lengthened. |
