PURPOSE:To improve storage property and charge and discharge cycle property by using such that saturated aromatic compound with nitrogen and carbon as fundamental atoms is contained rather than oxygen in molecules, for nonaqueous electrolyte. CONSTITUTION:A positive electrode 7, a negative electrode 1 with lithium as active material and nonaqueous electrolyte. For the nonaqueous electrolyte with a separator 8 is impregnated, saturated aromatic compound with nitrogen and carbon as fundamental atoms without containing oxygen in molecules is used. The saturated aromatic compound is of pyrrolidine or piperidine and its derivative, and the nonaqueous electrolyte is preferably formed in quality of trifluoromethane sulfonic lithium, hexafluorophosphatic lithium or others. It is thus possible to restrain the reactivity of the positive electrode 7 or the negative electrode 1 with the electrolyte and improve the storage property and the charge and discharge property of a battery. |
