PURPOSE:To enable a transfer unit to be automated through a simple structure by a method wherein a bar code printed on a printed board or the like is read in, the type of the board or the like is discriminated through a control device, the stop position of the board or the like is controlled by the discriminated result, and a check mark is printed on the board or the like. CONSTITUTION:When a bar code 28 of a printed board or a mounting board transferred through a transfer unit 2 is read in by a reader 6, a control device 9 discriminates the type of the board 1 referring to a memory content stored in it. Corresponding to the discriminated result, the device 9 controls the stop position of the board 1 to a printer 8, a check mark is printed on the board 1 by the printer 8, and the board 1 is sent out by the unit. By this simple structure, a transfer line can be automated well. |
