A gaseous fuel burner arrangement includes a combustion chamber 1 with an outlet 2 for the combustion gases with lips cooled by circulating fluid, the combustible gaseous mixture being fed via a conduit 6, past a diffuser 7 to a first grid 8 constituted by an apertured, V-shaped iron plate and thence to a second grid 11 constituted by bars of refractory material. A channel 9 connecting the conduit 6 to the burner inlet has a double wall 10 through which is circulated a cooling medium. Modified arrangements of grids are described.</p> |
