PURPOSE:To cool burrs and sputters quickly, scatter them, and suck and eliminate scattered matters by a suction means for preventing attachment of them to a product by jetting assist gas or air to be close to a fusion part simultaneously as a laser beam is radiated. CONSTITUTION:An electrode material comprising a metal thin plate having a fusion part 4 and an electron beam control electrode 3 are bound and fixed through a spacer 2 of a metal thin plate painted with insulation material for forming a unit 8. A laser beam 5 is radiated to the fusion part simultaneously as assist gas is jetted, so the fusion part of the electrode material is used and eliminated. Burrs and sputters generated at the time are cooled quickly by the assist gas 6 to be scattered down. A suction means 7 is provided on the opposite side of fusing at the same time, and scattered matters scattered by the assist gas 6 are sucked and eliminated. Attachment of the burrs and sputters to the electron beam control electrode, spacer, etc., can thus be prevented. |
