APPLICATION METHOD FOR MIXING MODE-CHARACTER TRANSLATOR

Mixed documents are read by receiving them through a communication receiving module (6), and then, the ODIF (the document interchange form) is interpreted. Then a conversion is made to a TDS (internal data which can be processed by the program), and then, the TDS is processed to output them in the form of images. With the method, the greater part of picture data is not stored in the picture memory, but is stored in an auxiliary memory, and therefore, the bulk of memory is reduced.
