The benzylamine derivative has the general formula in which R1 is a hydroxyl group in position 2 or 4 or an amino group in position 2, R2 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group and R3 is a cyclohexyl or hydroxycyclohexyl group, and the prophylactics and medicines impede or prevent the colonisation of surfaces with microorganisms.
