PURPOSE:To realize quantitative discrimination of printing quality regardless of individual difference in operator's skill by comparing data at a print pattern reading section with the content of a print pattern reference memory section for printing quality discrimination. CONSTITUTION:By turning on a quality discriminating switch 1, data is printed and output by a printing section 3 based on print data stored in a print pattern memory section 2, at the same time a paper conveying section 4 conveys printing paper 12. Paper feed counter 5 counts an amount of fed paper, and reads, when the printing section 3 reaches a reading section 6, the printed and outputted content. Data read out from a reading section 6 is compared with data of reference memory section 7 by comparator 8, and if they coincide with each other, the read data is judged good, otherwise, judged defective. Thus, discrimination of printing quality can be performed quantitatively regardless of individual difference in skill. |
